Catherine Macdonald Black Dog and Red Bird – a print in 2 parts
Currently I have been conducting experiments with drawing medium and printing processes. Mokulito is a relatively new form of printmaking developed in the 1970’s by Japanese printmaker and professor Ozaku Schisi. He developed a process of lithography using a plywood plate instead of the traditional stone block. At the beginning of the year Jo Giddens and I started experimenting with this process, these are some for the initial prints produced from that experimenting.
Black Dog and Red Bird are two creatures that have never really got along but just can’t stay out of each other’s lives.
