Landscapes of Memory

Linda Kirkland

Opening: November 4 5:30 pm

Viewing: November 3 until November 21

Linda Kirkland is a South Wairarapa-based abstract artist whose work unfolds through intuitive layers of paint, mixed media, and remembered experience. Guided by instinct, Linda embraces spontaneity, allowing each mark to emerge from a dialogue between memory, place, and the natural world. Her love of plants and flowers often informs the organic forms and shifting palettes that appear throughout her work.

Linda’s practice invites viewers to slow down, feel their way into the work, and form their own personal connection with the stories held in each layered surface.
