Someone once commented on my drawings “Why didn’t she clean up the smudges?” Well – charcoal is wonderfully messy.

We welcome you to join us on Friday the 21st of April in celebrating the opening of this Pop-up exhibition. Pop down between 4-6pm to meet Elaine and enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne.

Elaine has a BFA, from Elam Auckland University. She has tutored ‘Experimental Drawing’ at EIT Degree Programme, Hawkes Bay and also in community arts programmes such as ‘Drawing for the Terrified’. Elaine was Director/Curator of ASA Gallery Auckland and an Arts Administrator Auckland City Council. She established Mayer Gallery (Napier) and has exhibited nationally including Hastings City Art Gallery. Whanganui has been her home for the past 6 years.
