I know that this isn’t my home, but I used to think that it was. That has all changed. When I go there now, I see that the forest has receded from the farmland. In the distance, if you look carefully, you will spot the remains of a building. Move a little closer you may still read someone’s hand-written message on the remnants of a crumbling logging village- ‘vote’.
