Give it a Go – Monoprinting

A monoprint is a form of printmaking in which an image is made from a smooth surface or ‘plate’ coated in printing ink. In contrast with other printing techniques, only one final image is made, making the technique closer to drawing or painting than other print processes.

During this workshop you will experiment with a range of materials and techniques to create experimental monoprint plates that will be printed using a press.

Suitable for ages 12 through to Adults
Max: 12 people
Materials provided – please bring an apron.
