JANE GOODALL (1934) Jane is an English primatologist and anthropologist. She is best known for her A 60-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees since she first went to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania in 1960. By protecting chimpanzees and inspiring people to conserve the natural world we all share, we improve the lives of people, animals and the environment. Thanks to Jane’s research and dedication we have learned a great deal about the species that share 99% of our DNA.
