In ‘Anyone for bubbles’ I have created a sculpture using the sphere/circle as my focus. The interconnected forms suggest family, community and togetherness. With play on colour and scale I have tried to evoke a sense of fun and playfulness. The form and placement of the balls is suggestive of a glass of bubbles, a maypole and a child’s mobile; all of these are centred around family and enjoyment. The palette seeks to evoke joyful associations of outdoors and summertime.
