Twisted Sisters is about shared joy rather than individual performance. The figures move together, responding to one another, caught in that moment where the body takes over and thinking stops. It sits somewhere between dancing, falling and floating, a physical letting go.

I keep coming back to the human body in my work. It’s an anchor for me, a way of holding emotion and experience without having to explain it too much. In this piece, the doubled figure speaks to connection, sisterhood, and the kind of energy that builds when joy is shared rather than witnessed.

The colour is deliberately bold and unapologetic. The work isn’t about a literal fiesta so much as the feeling underneath it. That sense of rhythm, warmth and release that happens when people move together and forget themselves for a moment.
