Pictures tell stories; words tell stories. This photographic exhibition explores the conversations between these narratives.

The series examines the interplay between different narratives within a single image and the ways in which these influence and shape one another. This body of work specifically investigates how the interpretation of a photograph’s visual communication is altered through the insertion of a brief, ostensibly unrelated line of written text, thereby challenging the viewer’s perception and understanding of the image.

The text in the series is handwritten directly on the photographic prints, resulting in each piece being a one-off, unique creative work.
