In this exhibition Winter is celebrated as something we should actively participate in rather than simply survive. Winter is explored as a lived process – of retreat, endurance, preservation, and quiet transformation – where stillness is active and becomes a powerful vehicle for growth.

This exhibition was developed through an open call to local and national artists. We extend our sincere thanks to the selection panel – The Women’s Network Director Carla Donson, Whanganui LIT Festival Chair Karen White, and Sarah Narine of Space Studio & Gallery – for their thoughtful review of submissions and their contribution to curating this exhibition.
